“Such an amazing week. Thanks to Tanya, our attentive and helpful host, my two kids (and our lab!) and I enjoyed our time. The cottage is well appointed, clean, pet friendly, with rooms accommodate everyone and a gorgeous outdoor space. We took a polar bear swim (late october!) and we're all looking forward to enjoying the cottage and lake next summer. No question, this will be our go to cottage in the Kawartha's. Thanks, Tanya!”

“House is spacious and supplies adequate. Just bring your own towels and linens as earlier advised by owner Water supply, hot and cold, is abundant for 12 people. Parking for 5 cars, no problem. Things that can easily be added to make the property more user friendly: 1) Grab bars in bath tubs to prevent accidents. We had two slips and had to grab the shower curtain and avoided a bad fall. 2) Electric fan in each room to address the warm nights of summer. Bought our own fans ar Port Perry……

“The house is huge - the furniture is quite shabby - couches on blocks of wood. Beds are falling apart. Only sheets provided not a single blanket in the house and only a couple of towels. The outdoor area was completely overgrown and the firepit had no usable area to sit around it. The decks were huge. There was no bbq that was usable and the canoe was full of holes. The upstairs is very odd with a railing around a hole in the middle. Pretty much a waste of space. The railings should be……

“What a delightful stay! I came for work meetings, so I didn’t get a chance to really savour my stay in such a wonderful room so I will have to come back! The room was beautifully appointed with lots of extra “treats” (chocolates, clementine's). Lynn gave me a great referral for a nice pub dinner nearby. Breakfast could have fed me for the full day! Superb! Thanks for your hospitality ”
