“This little gem of a hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff, room, and property were all excellent - well-maintained, welcoming, and comfortable. I chose it because it was near a more expensive hotel where I was attending a conference, and it turned out to be a fantastic find. The location was perfect: affordable, convenient, and within walking distance of everything I needed, including The Forks Market and the Human Rights Museum. “This is a hostel which I was unaware of, however! It was amazing stay had no problems whatsoever but if you don’t know the area it’s scary, had multiple locals say it’s an unsafe area as there’s a lot of crime that happens. The “staff” (owners) were very sweet and helped me with any questions but if I was notified it was a hostel, never would’ve stayed haha! Either way if you don’t care about surroundings and or a crime filled area it’s a sweet stay, they have a working shower, last day there……

“The neighbourhood around the hotel is very poor. Homeless people and drug addicts sit outside the hotel front door, and use the hotel bathroom all the time. Feel very unsafe. Toilet easily get stuck. Staff is unfriendly when requested for room change due to the toilet situation. ”
