“The beds were comfortable. The room was adequate for what we needed for one night. The restaurant on the premises was convenient, excellent Mexican food. The downside...my nine-year old wanted to swim. The pool and hot tub were freezing. The pool needs major maintenance and should just be shut down and not advertised. The paint was chipping. Just gross.”

“Old Travel Lodge although clean and comfortable stay. Budget price.”

“Nice little motel next to a nice restaurant. For the price point it was sufficient and quiet. The staff was friendly. Will stay there again if we are in Carroll. One note - the sign advertises "hot breakfast" with pictures of eggs and sausages. You need to tell the front desk that you want the hot breakfast ahead of time, or only a continental one will be available. The staff told me not enough people eat the hot food and it goes to waste at great expense, so they are now serving it upon……

“The only thing was didn't seem to have a lot of insulation in walls and ceiling. We could hear someone talking on their phone and walking heavily in the upstairs room. Other than that it was good.”

“Under new management. He’s been working hard to get a rundown motel cleaned up. Still has a long way to go. My friend said his sheets had dirt and hair. My room was clean, except for the Smokey smell, that manager sprayed a deodorizer that helped. ”

“my stay at the cottage is exactly what i needed. the quiet of being in the heart of Whiterock Conservancy was a wonderful place to rest, re-set, and rejuvenate. the trails are so close and my dog and i were able to explore quite a few paths.”
