“We couldn’t have loved our stay at this gorgeous house any more. The moment that I walked down the walkway from the car to the porch, I got actual goosebumps when I saw the panoramic view of the lake. From then on, we spent every moment outside that we possibly could. When we weren’t boating, we floated on the lily pad, used the kayak, and jumped off the dock countless times. We ate meals either on the porch or out on the top deck of the dock. We loved using the fire pit on the porch and……

“The view of the cove from the deck was great and a short walk to the deck and water. The cove was shallow but we were able to dock the pontoon. The house is a short boat ride to town. It felt like we were in the woods but actually in a neighborhood. I would stay there again. ”

“My son and I were in town for a fishing tournament on Kerr Lake. The property was perfect for us. It is definitely off the beaten path, but we loved it. Couldn't use the dock because the water was too high in the lake, but we loved it. ”

“This property was full of history and unique features. There is craftsmanship in each piece, from ceilings using wood repurposed from old barns to the bed headboard made from the door of the original house. You get to know all about the history of the place it used to be. The property is beautiful and lovely to walk around. You might even get to say hello to beautiful horses and a few other friendly animals or enjoy figs from the fig trees if you visit when they are in season. The cabin itself……

“The property was just as it was in photos as in person. It is in a quiet area, little traffic, just what you want when you want down time and no drama! Fun areas to explore. Went to Lake Gaston Coffee, awesome scones and coffee. A very nice selection of wines for a coffee shop. Had dinner at Waterview in Littleton. Not far from house at all. Food was great. Right on the water and have music on select days. Rosemont winery is a must. We will be back. Our host was wonderful. Answered……

“This place was perfect. Our large group always struggles to find a place that works to sleep everyone and is separate enough so that when the babies are in bed the adults don't have to be silent. This house fits the bill. People on the top level cannot hear anything in the basement and vice versa. In addition the house was extremely well stocked. They thought of everything. We can't wait to come back next year. ”

“Everything was perfect. We worked with the owner of the property through VRBO and it was very easy to communicate, ask questions and get answers. We visited twice prior to our reservation date to get a feel for who would sleep where of the 40 folks on our list of invitees. The owner was always very accommodating.
