“Perfect house for our travel stop in PA. The house is clean and well appointed. The beds were comfortable and the property was quiet. There was some road noise as others have mentioned but it did not affect our sleep. Wifi was strong and worked well. The nearby town provided plenty of dining options - check out The Italian Oven and Summit Diner. Thanks to Jen for being a great host! ”

“Black Diamond Chalet was the perfect weekend getaway for a group of 12. The location was a very easy drive from the Pittsburgh area using GPS. Inside, everything was well stocked, clean, and the jacuzzi tub was a perfect addition.Overall communication with the property manager for a few questions were responded to promptly. My only issue was the proximity to the neighboring property, and would strongly suggest a privacy screen/fence/wall to be implemented around the hot tub area. I would……

“We've been coming to this cabin off and on for 17 years, and it never disappoints. It's rustic, yet modern -- new appliances and bathrooms, new washer-dryer, new master bedroom, etc. But it still feels like an old A-frame ski lodge from the 1970s, especially with the vintage carpeting and living room furniture. This place sleeps 11- pretty comfortably, and you can squeeze a few more in there with sofas and blow-up mattresses, if need be.The owners are very responsive and are super-helpful if you……

“Very great communication with hosts prior to stay, cute and quaint little cabin chalet just as described. Fully supplied kitchen made for meal prep pretty easy. Bring groceries bc the area has limited options nearby. We knew this ahead of time and probably saved us time and money. ”

“The house was clean and roomy for our group. We enjoyed being able to use the fireplace! The beautiful dining table accommodated us well. We had a little hard time finding a few things in the kitchen, i.e. foil, plastic wrap. Wastebaskets and tissues in the bedrooms would be a welcome addition. It was difficult finding the house in the dark in a snowstorm, but WAZE helped immensely! It is a beautiful location!”
