“Vernita was incredible. We talked about different cultures, and had a very interesting conversation. She recommended a place to eat dinner, and it was good. I walked down the hill, a couple of times, to Quepos. It was a nice place, and everyone was friendly, and knowledgeable about the area. I saw two red Macaws fly overhead. It was a sight to see. I would recommend the place to people that don’t want to stay in a hotel. It’s safe, and secure.”

“We had a lovely time at this house! The ac was great and the bed was super comfortable. It's Costa Rica so it was hot and humid but we spent a lot of time on the porch; the little fan there was perfect. I appreciated the coffee but my tea drinking family would have loved a stovetop or electric kettle. All in all we would stay there again in a heartbeat!”

“Small car is better; must be automatic transmission to ascend steep hill and park. View from balcony enjoyed every day, both morning and sunset. Only the bedroom has A/C. Close to touristy Manuel Antonio, but nature at the house was just as good, maybe better: monkeys on the mango tree; macaws nearby. Favorite restaurant was recommended by host: Emillio’s Cafe in the daylight! Enjoyed meeting the family and practicing our Spanish (but English is fine). Quepos is a lovely town with a park and……
