“We recently spent 4 nights at the Elwha Place - Hiker's Getaway. It was a perfect and beautiful location with easy access to many destinations in the Olympic National Park and the city of Port Angeles. The 2 bedroom apartment was exceptionally clean and had a large deck with a grill, firepit, table and view of the creek below. The kitchen was well equipped and the washer and dryer were appreciated. ( Be aware that the only access to the bathroom is through the Master bedroom.) There is a ramp……

“We called the management to tell them that the reservation was for two nights, not one. They told us they had already rented ours for the following night and gave us a lesser room for the two nights, but for the same charge. BTW there did not appear to be anyone staying in our original room! This place is at least 20 minute drive from Port Angeles partially up a one lane dirt road. No food nearby, so travel to Port Angeles for meals. It is a hotel room, so no way to prepare food. Tripped……

“This was the best VRBO I have ever stayed at. The pictures are exactly what you get. Then you get more. There is nothing that is missing, from the ammenities in the bathroom to a full kitchen, including a spice rack to cook with. The property is beautiful, the home is welcoming, and the host, Susan, is friendly and helpful. I would go back here as many times as I am in the area. I would never stay anywhere else. I only wish I could give 10 stars.”
