The host Don and his dog Blue were extremely friendly. The only things that could possibly improve the cabin would be a more comfortable bed and hooks to hang towels up. ”

“2 adults and 1 kiddo (1st grader) stayed for 5 nights next to beautiful Lake Sutherland. Hot tub was wonderful. Barbecue was great to use. LOVED paddling with the kayaks and paddleboards! (Bring your own life vests) for a cool paddle try paddling west all the way to the creek at the end of the lake, you can paddle down aways in kayaks. The house was great for family of 3, appreciated small plates and kids DVDs. Wifi worked without any issues. Port Angeles was 20 min drive for any grocery needs.……

The hot tub was wonderful and the robes made using it so nice. We assume the cat that greeted us belongs to the property. He needed to fully explore the car and us when we arrived. Very cute and friendly.”

“We had such a wonderful stay at the Blue Haven on Lake Sutherland! The house served all of our needs as a gateway to long hiking adventures in Olympic National Park each day. Our host was fast and responsive to any inquiries and the check-in/check-out process was hassle-free. We loved being right on the lake and spent our mornings with coffee on the dock and evenings rowing around the cove. Hope to venture back one day!”
