“Property is a bit ways from town. Area is extremely peaceful. Cabin has plenty of space and nice open feel. Beforehand, owner was initially responsive however would have liked that to continue during our stay as we did not receive much during our stay. Listing should really mention steep spiral stairs to basement and to upstairs as for our small children needed help for safety as well as one adult who had a bad knee could not do these stairs. Recommend non slip treads for safety. Also recommend……

“We did not end of staying at this location. The place was dirty, smelly, cob webs, bathroom had dirty mats, hair on lots of things and the mirror looked like someone spit at it. The kitchen has 1/4 red onion in fridge, cups on window, etc. Nothing like the picture or reviews. The host did refund money quickly and communicated well. ”

“This is a property that exemplifies an absentee owner. It was clean inside but exterior was not well maintained. Fire pit rotted through, life vests moldy and deck smelled bad. The lake is beautiful to look at but full of seaweed and has water moccasin snakes around. It does have a two person limit so it’s overpriced.”

“Randall is a gracious host who quickly communicated well throughout the rental process. The property is clean, neat, well appointed, and has an amazing view of the lake. Our family of 4 loved sitting lakeside by the fire, fishing off the dock, and sitting in the hottub watching the sunrise and the stars shine. We appreciated the kayaks and used them daily.Just a few minutes from Ithaca, there is very close access to several waterfall hikes including Robert Treman and Buttermilk Falls. ……

“This property was as described in the listing, charming, near the commons, ample parking, clean, inviting, cozy (but not in a small way). The property manager was attentive via messenger but we never saw anyone - so we had communication if needed but had nothing but privacy the entire stay. It says two bedrooms but it felt like 3 the way the second bedroom is laid out, with each teenager having their own space, which helps, believe me. The location is central to everything and check-in was……
