“We loved the cabin and it was a peaceful place. The sound of the waterfall was really special and the neighbers weren't too close, just close enough to give you a feeling of security. The enclosed area for the dogs was super. We sat out there and the dogs could roam. That was great them not have to always be leashed. The hosts couldnt have been nicer. Alway replied right away and went out of their way to make our stay special. The only thing i wished was that there was someplace to go for a……

“Spent a long weekend ice fishing in the area. The place worked out perfect, plenty of room for vehicles and trailers. The attached garage to thaw out gear was an added bonus. ”

“What a find! Spent a long, snowy spring weekend enjoying all The Barn had to offer—including comfy beds, a warm wood stove, a well stocked kitchen, and a deep soaking tub. The views of the forest and meadows from the windows were ideal. The trails just outside the front door, even better! The property is near enough to Cable or Hayward to be convenient and suck used enough to be peaceful. I will be back!”

“A super cute and cozy cabin that is about a 25 min drive to the Brikie trailhead and downtown Hayward. We came up for the Birkie trail run and were super happy with the location. The owner is really nice and the resort dog, Vincent, is such a sweetheart! The lake is beautiful and the restaurant/bar is a great place to grab a bite to eat. Would stay here again!”

“We had a great weekend — had bad luck with super cold weather (high of -17) that limited our ski time but the cabin with fireplace and sauna helped us make the most of our time away. Lots of amenities (only thing missing was colander for spaghetti) and lots of room for our group of 6. We appreciated the games and DVDs”

“This cabin was exactly the privacy and lack of inernet/cell service we desperately needed. Spacious enough that we're debating bringing a group next time! Some of the old VHS tapes and equipment/anemities were like a step back in time. Quiet, charming, and within driving distance (30-40 miles) of many great hiking spots and food. Honestly can't wait to come back!”
