“After a brief glitch when I didn't receive check-in instructions from VRBO, everything else was great. Very comfy house that was totally private and quiet. I'm an author, and was undisturbed and able to work on my book in progress. The views and the wildlife added to my serenity. One caution: if you are petite, ask for a stepstool to get into the bed; it is very high. Sherri, the host, is professional and responsive. ”

“Super sweet views of the water, islands, & sky. Very nice private beach, and peaceful setting. The kitchen is well equipped. Bed was comfortable, couch and chairs were comfortable. The code to the door didn’t work, and after trying it numerous times, we texted Vacasa and they responded with a different code for the lock box which got us in with a key. The light above the stove, under the microwave was burned out, so cooking was dimly lit. I’m sure they will replace the bulb tho. The coffee……

“This cottage is completely remodeled and very clean, comfortable, cozy, and private. The walkability to downtown Anacortes shops is definitely a bonus too! ”

“This home was lovely. We will be back. We had Della contact us prior to check in and communicate when needed throughout the trip. There was a plumbing and gate issue that was both communicated early, expectations set and addressed immediately. She kindly provided compensation for the issues. The house is just as advertised and we had a lovely time during our stay. ”

“Nice stay. Kept warm and view of bay was lovely. Appliances were of high quality and appeared new. I had difficulty with the bathroom sink drain. I enjoyed exploring Orcas Island. Felt like I was integrated into the community. No other rentals in view. Bathroom had the feel of a boats head. Everything was there but it was tight. If owner is interested I do fine pruning and would be interested in taking on the care of your plants. Hot tub was glorious!”

“6 family members stayed here for a wedding at Guemes Island resort. They said it was really nice and the location is great”

“We stayed here for a week as we moved our daughter into the dorms at WWU. It was just a short 15 min drive to the campus. The home had everything we needed & more. The decor is very nice & comfortable. We all even watched a movie one night & just felt at home. Also the master bed is amazing… Very comfortable! We hope to stay here again on a future visit! ”

“The photos posted don’t do the place justice. The view is amazing. I was worried because it’s close to a main road (though the road means you’re two minutes from shops and food), but the trees mostly block the sound. Also the house is extraordinarily sound proof. The binder of info is helpful! One suggestion would be to leave it out so it’s easier to find.Great space and hope to return!”

“Great place to relax for a few days, owners are very helpful and friendly, we were in a large rv, they took us to the local grocery store one day, farm animals on the property are fun to watch especially at feeding time, awesome place will definitely return, house is great, wood floors throughout, nice warm heat with a fireplace in the living room, comfy bed with thick comforters, plenty of windows with good views, perfect stay!!”
