“Nonostante arrivo in struttura oltre l'orario del check in e uscita prima dell'orario di check out quindi senza personale, fatto tutto online. Organizzati sotto questo aspetto e cosa molto gradita dato il periodo invernale trovato la stanza bella calda. Soddisfattissimo. ”

“The property is convenient for visiting Pisa city centre and the tower. The staff at the property were very friendly. The property was clean and so was the pool and pool area. The pool is great, although it does close at 7pm which is typical for Italy, although if you’ve been visiting the city during the day, longer pool opening would be advantageous. The problem with this place is that there’s literally nothing there, there’s a restaurant in the evenings, which I have to say is brilliant.……

“A gorgeous, quiet, very small hotel in an old palace just off one of the main Lucca streets. We had a large twin room with a lot of character and a good bathroom. The ladies who run the hotel are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is excellent with home made yoghurt and cakes. The hotel is very clean and in excellent condition. “La pulizia della camera non era eccezionale al nostro arrivo, e purtroppo basta un pomeriggio di domenica di pioggia per mandare un po' in tilt la situazione. Alle ore 14.40/15 impossibile mangiare nella struttura (ristorante chiuso, minimarket chiuso, bar senza prodotti salati) ed impossibile anche recuperare un ombrello se ne sei sprovvisto. In zona a quell'ora tutto chiuso eccezione del forno 24h ore a 15 minuti a piedi dalla struttura, dove siamo arrivati completamente zuppi. Personale……

“The property is lovely. Also bear in mind that there are about 30 steps to get into the apartment.Even more important is that the owner of the property could not have been more helpful. He explained everything to us clearly and at the end offered to drive us to the train station. He’s an incredibly helpful man. My only criticism is that it’s a step below luxury but it was perfectly fine for us. I would definitely stay here again. ”

“Family and friends gathered at Al Bastini to explore the Lucca region. The Villa was wonderfully appointed and very comfortable. The pool was a big hit with the grandkids and the outdoor wood fired BBQ was used multiple times throughout the week. The owners have a great collection of books that cover Tuscany and Italian cooking. I wish I could have stayed a month so I could sit and read and gaze over the spectacular views.
