The home was perfect for our gathering but perhaps the most perfect part of the home was the yard and the creek!! Southern Illinois held so many hiking and waterfall adventures. I’d highly recommend checking out so many hidden gems in America!!”

“I rented this cabin for my dad and aunt to come down for Memorial Day weekend as they have done for the last 2 years. This year was the little different my dad suffered a heart attack and didn't make it the host was amazing and offered an extra night so that my brother could come in to make funeral arrangements. I highly recommend this cabin not just because it is very lovely but also because the host is amazing! ”

“This house was perfect for our family of 7- all adults. There was plenty of space and the floor plan was great to allow everyone their own space as needed. We have rented many houses, condos, cabins and this was the first to have some food items on hand in case we needed it. The only thing I would suggest is to bring any plastic bowls with lids that you might need. With 7 of us, we did need them. However, Dollar General isn’t far and it is cheap. “This rental house was as pictured. It was clean, it was lake adjacent, it housed my family adequately. There was nothing special about this unit that justified its cost. After fees were included--one of which was a very high cleaning fee that came in addition to cleaning tasks we were required to do--there was nothing about this cabin that justified how high the rental price was. What you see is (mostly) what you get. The main photo shows the lake, it doesn't show you that this house is set back……

“This was a perfect location for our family to meet with friends from out of town. The house has a luxurious cabin feel, and there are plenty of spaces for people to spread out and play games or talk. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked, which made it easy for us to cook up some favorite meals. The property manager was friendly and responsive to questions we had. The floors could have been cleaner when we arrived, and I'm sure they would have taken care of that if we'd contacted them about it,……
