“We had a wonderful stay at the cozy Kilburn cottage, originally a sheep barn turned into workers housing in the 40s. We are very familiar with this beautiful area so knew where we were going and the setting. The attached ‘cottage’ at the Inns rear wing is charming and was just what we needed for visiting family nearby. It had all we needed for the 3 adults staying over and a family visitor for dinner. “Beautiful property exactly as described. Very clean, upgraded baths. There were six adults and we all slept very comfortably. Very responsive host that left fresh apple cider donuts that were delicious. Coffee and tea offerings were excellent. Couple farmhouse cats stopped for a visit which was adorable. Definitely stay here again when we return to the area. ”

“The nearly 200-year old Carley Farmhouse nestled amidst the Vermont hills is a real keeper! The natural beauty of the area is stunning, and nature lovers will appreciate the bird chatter, occasional monarch butterfly, starry skies, complete with fireflies in the yard! Gather chairs around the firepit in the yard at night and enjoy it all. Inside, there are several living areas including a small back sunporch that is a quiet retreat both during the day and at night. We didn't end up using the……

“Peaceful, easy walks, beautiful surroundings with beautiful flowers. The house had everything we needed and was centrally located to villages, towns, and markets. Plenty of nearby restaurants if you don't feel like cooking. A perfect place from which to set out on day trips . House sunny with views from all rooms. Also, turkeys, deer, apples, and other things of interest.”
