“Wir haben den Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel sehr genossen. Palazzo Castagna liegt nah am Flughafen und am Fischerdorf Marsaxlokk, aber abseits aller anderen Hotspots der Insel. Das sorgt für erholsame Ruhe insbesondere in der Nacht. Das historische Gebäude wurde auf großartige Art und Weise saniert und ist optisch ein Traum. Besonderes Highlight ist der Pool in einer Höhle unter dem Haus. Noch großartiger sind der Service von Rezeption und Café/Restaurant. So viel freundliche Zuwendung habe ich……

“This hotel is a hidden gem in a popular country. We stayed 4 nights here. The staff was exceptional in setting up a very home feel environment for their guests. We had many conversation and chats even with the other guests in a very relaxing and comfortable evenings. We had dinner 3 nights in the hotel and they are able to indulged my appetite with 3 nights of fish which I love. The room itself was basic but functional and clean. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and we recommend your stay……

“Malta is an exotic place for me. The hotel is located very near the airport, with about 15 minutes of walk. A taxi ride would be only 5 minutes. But directions are not clear and almost all the buildings were closed and looked all the same so it was rather difficult to find the place. The young attendant at the front desk was kind and polite. But his duty hours were between 6am and 3pm only. That means any one arriving after 3pm needs to follow the clues left on the door to open the gate and……

“We only stayed the one night as we had an early flight. About a 15 min walk to the airport. There is a convenience shop opposite. We taxied to and from Bormla for a drink and meal. Apartment clean and quirky with air con and a comfy bed. Our room faced the road which was a bit busy but we got to sleep ok.”
