“Beautiful house and property. Just what was needed for a bridal house and her friends. Host were easy to contact and everything was just as pictured. I would book again for large family gatherings. ”

“Upon arrival we saw several dogs, a goat and horse in the yard. I called the owner and he came out the back. He said those animals would stay in the front yard so we’d have to enter and exit through the back door. My husband and myself walked through and the elderly owner was kind but underprepared. The house smelled like dogs, dogs ran up to us and actually peed on the carpet infront of us. The owner stated his wife had recently passed and he had been trying to clean for weeks. “Although remote, it was worth the drive to find it! So quiet and beautiful among the horse pastures and cornfields. We only used the main level which was perfect for the 3 of us including my 80 year old mother. If you don’t appreciate family history and vintage furnishings, you may be disappointed. It’s like staying at your grandma’s home and was perfect for us. Covered carport was very convenient as it was raining when we arrived.”

“We cannot say enough good things about this property. 1800s home in the woods but still close to all amenities. Close to Charlotte. The local area had great restaurants an everything we needed. The property is beautiful. The house is amazing. Wish we had more time there. The host was also incredible. Responded so quickly at check in. Highly recommend. ”
