The property lists backyard (which was something we were looking forward with the 6 kids) but it was not useable. “This is a shared apartment that means you share the apartment with others. I was confused thinking I will have a room in the apartment while kitchen and living area will be for us. But, there are 3 rooms and more people might check in while you are there. We were there and young (undergrad) people with their friends checked in thinking they can party all night. They also thought the entire apartment was for them. But communication with owner was smooth and things were taken care of. ”

“Pros - Great communication, central location in Madison. Cons - The house is run down, wasn't clean. Kitchen cupboards were literally dirty. Kitchen is very poorly stocked, not even paper towels. The House itself is old, unmaintained, and poorly decorated, lacking furniture and an inviting feeling. Lastly, if you are a light sleeper, you can hear the road and the shades in bedroom windows don't block light from coming in. ”

“We had a really nice stay at this place. The house was very clean and had everything we needed—there was nothing missing. We also loved the location; it’s in a quiet neighborhood but still super easy to get around and access the city. Even though it’s an attic apartment, it didn’t feel cramped or gloomy at all.
