“Lovely place - kids loved having 4 floors to explore! Recommended. Just make sure you are aware of the loading and parking that is required. Some people seemed to be occupying the parking spaces far longer than 30 mins which made loading the car at the end of the trip a bit more of a trek. Only thing I couldn't find in the house was a cafetiere.”

“We had a wonderful holiday as a family of three in the holiday home.It was beautifully furnished and well equipped, the bed was very comfortable, and the immediate surroundings were lovely—with a farm, many hiking trails, and charming towns nearby.The neighbors were very friendly and gave us great tips for day trips.We went on many excursions to the coast and to the surrounding towns.The house is quite remote when it comes to supermarkets, and some of the roads are very steep, which takes a bit……

“Very friendly reception from the landlord Gareth who provided a most enlivening atmosphere in the Duke of Wellington ie a darts match for the men and Easter wreath making for the ladies. No food unfortunately but we found an excellent Italian restaurant in nearby Northallerton. The courtyard room was clean and comfortable, marred only by a very awkward shower - not easy to enter, due to lack of space.”

“We had a great Christmas experience at Top Gallant Cottage, our second in a row. The cottage is comfortable and cosy and an ideal place to relax during the festivities. Everything is there to make you feel at home and the views are excellent. Exploring the beach is always fun and there are lovely coastal walks close by. It has left us with many happy memories.”
