“Easy drive to Fallingwater which was our primary reason for the stay. Now that we’ve explored the area a bit, we look forward to returning.The house is comfortable and convenient to many area attractions. The rain kept us from enjoying the fire pit but it is a lovely place to hang out. We loved that there was a jigsaw puzzle underway that we could work on.Great home for a family vacation in the Laurel Highlands.”

It is only about 30 mins from Morgantown so it is great for anyone visiting a student at WVU but wanting a place to wind down and have calm and quiet. ”

“What an amazing house. So much fun inside and outside. House has everything you need for a fun trip! You can enjoy a relaxing weekend curled up with a good book by the fire staring out at the wonderful rocks. Play pool, cards or watch a movie on the large tv. The yard is like a state park with trails through the rocks. So much fun outside climbing rocks, enjoying a bonfire, and eating out on the deck to take in the view. So close to Rock Maze, Swallow Falls, and only 20 minutes to……

“Very relaxing week weather not so great but enjoyed the peace ”

“We are graduates of the FBI National Academy. Each year they host a “training” at Camp Dawson in Kingwood, WV for police officers who have attended the academy. We’ve been attending these events for over 25 years. Staying at Alpine is always a treat. Your house was extremely nice and totally comfortable for four old men! We would certainly recommend it to others.”
