“Tutto sommato abbastanza bene ,a parte il caldo. Il condizionatore non rinfrescava tutta la camera e si moriva di caldo . Nel bagno c'era la muffa. Unica nota positiva il padrone che ci ha dato ottimi consigli per visitare Matera . Colazione buona. ”

“Nun ja. Als wir vor etwa 12 Jahren schon im Albergo Italia genächtigt haben waren wir begeistert. Die riesige Terrasse der King Suite (Zi 115) mit Blick über die Sassi hat uns begeistert. Man hat sich damals gut vorstellen können, dass Mel Gibson während der Dreharbeiten zur „Passion Christi“ hier gewohnt hat. Aber Matera hat sich verändert. Unzählige Privatzimmer und B&B‘s sind entstanden und man kann sich bei dieser Auswahl heute kaum noch vorstellen, dass sich jemand mehr als nur eine Nacht……

“This property is just AMAZING! It is set in the old town, part of the Sasi. The hotel is in what was a Palace back in the 1700’s. The room we stayed in was literally a cave that had been updated and converted to a hotel room. The pictures on their site do a wonderful job showing what the rooms are like. The restaurant was excellent. Service, food, and variety. The breakfast spread was very complete and offers eggs and omelette as well which we did not find in other hotels in……

“少有人第一次到義大利就到過Matera，就是這個念頭，我們風塵僕僕地來到這裏，只因這裏有Sassi文化遺產，還有附近的 Trulli。老實說，Sant' Angelo不好找到，reception的地點有改變過，我們費了好久時間，ㄧ直到現在，我們還是擔心會不會誤闖了ZTL？見到洞穴屋的第一個感覺只有「哇」，很興奮，也很驚奇，甚至馬上跟台灣的好友ㄧ家人FaceTime分享。裡面很乾淨，浴室的水柱也很強，真的要挑剔的是床和棉被都有小小粒的砂子，但這是難免的，洞穴屋不就是這樣嗎。飯店內沒有免費停車，這跟訂房時Hotels.com上寫的不同，代客泊車的費用記得是26歐。請記得提早一小時前order取車，因為動作真的很慢。洞穴屋的本身真的很棒，值得親自體驗。”
