“Property was vey nice. Bathroom upstairs should be updated to include a shower especially for large groups. Bathrooms smelled if windows did not remain open. Trees coming into property need to be cut back given it was extremely hard to safely exit the property to the left given you could not see oncoming traffic. However, in all it was very a enjoyable vacation.”

We even used the kayaks and grill, both of which were in perfect working order......a real rarity at a rental property. I can't speak to the quality of the TV because we never even turned it on in the 5 days that we were in Owls Head. I have already started recommending this place to everyone who will listen to me!”

“This was my 3rd or 4th stay here, and my favorite spot in all of Maine. Even on a rainy or snowy day, it’s gorgeous. This is an older home with lots of charm, the most breathtaking views of the harbor, and everything you could need to enjoy time here indoors or out. I almost hate to add photos, as it will drive demand for this spot even higher. It’s just a stunningly beautiful space and it’s very hard to leave!”

We lucked out with warmer weather than we expected for early May and enjoyed having this house as our home base as we explored Camden, Rockport/Rockland, Freeport, Damariscotta, The Botanic Garden in Boothbay, and even Portland for a special occasion dinner. The home was centrally located and was serene and peaceful; it exceeded our expectations. ”
