“Matinicus is a lovely place to explore and enjoy and Isle Be Back was just perfect to stay at! The accommodations were great for our group - nice big kitchen to work in, plenty of space to hang out in, big back deck for dinners, and bedrooms simple but lovely. It's a great location in the center of the island to walk to the beaches, trails and around the island. Communication with host was super- quick responses and thoughtful.”

“We enjoyed Maine sooo much! The house is a dream! Well equipped, clean and the location is amazing! We did visit Rockland and Rockport several times, there are near and are lovely. Went hiking to Camden and spent the day in the vibrant town. Everything was easy and we will repeated for sure! ”

“Had an amazing stay at this charmer on the coast! Very clean, comfortable, and well cared for. Spent many hours just watching the ducks and birds enjoying the treats that come and go as the tides change. Great jumping off point to enjoy the beautiful coast of Maine! The only drawback is that the road is incredibly close to the house and the traffic noise is impossible to drown out, especially when trying to sleep in the second bedroom. Not ideal, but we would definitely return! ”

“This is our second time staying at the Post Office and we can't wait to return. Our family loves the coziness of this home and all the character every nook offers. We couldn't imagine staying anywhere else when we're up visiting our favorite place in Maine!”

“We enjoyed our stay here. Cottage was clean and well appointed. Loved the front porch. It was busy with lobster processing traffic going by but not so much that it was a problem. Two issues that were not good: no wifi. Zip .Zero. No internet service n this day and age is not acceptable. (which we were supposed to have according to the website.) Phoned the number provided. Zero response. V bad in my opinion. Second the fire dept was prepping to burn an abandoned house next door so there were……
