“Our family had a wonderful time at this property! 4 comfortable, private bedrooms for the 8 of us. A kitchen big enough for 4 cooks! A peninsula with 10 stools, and a large table to gather around. (We all want stainless steel counters in our kitchens now!) Port Clyde is a little off the beaten path, but we feel so lucky that we discovered this property! We loved to come back to the views, and the calm of the house after our sightseeing days to Acadia, Bar Harbor, Booth Bay and Brunswick. The……

“This house is so so special. The water right outback is so much fun, but the house itself just anticipated our every need - spacious kitchen, screened in deck where we sat and read one evening during a thunderstorm, the back deck where we ate most meals and the large comfy living room where we watched movies and played games. Easy distance from Camden/Rockport, super close to Rockford. We preferred this location to past stays down in Port Clyde bc it was so much easier to get in/out. Perfect……

“Quaint cottage in a working community by the sea. We all (5) loved relaxing on the screened in porch. Cottage was well stocked- microwave, coffee pot, Keurig, large lobster pot, nice towels and linens, washer/dryer, dishwasher- the only thing short on was drinking glasses but not a big deal. Overall experience was great. We ate at the Dip Net (excellent food), shopped at the store( they are stocked with most everything you’ll need), coffee at Squid Ink everyday( great lattes), stopped at the……

“Clean, comfortable, even"extra" bonuses not in description like an adjustable bed and a queen-sized air mattress with bedding. Well equipped. Very close to Drift In Beach parking. The house is on a curve and you need to take caution pulling out though it is doable--if the neighbor on the Tenant's Harbor side would trim back bushes, it would no longer be an issue. Quiet, relaxed and convenient location.”

“This is a rambling, welcoming old building that is perfect for a family stay. Check-in is smooth, the kitchen is well stocked with utensils etc, wi fi was good. I must say it is not what I would call an easy walk from the ferry, so older people, little kids, and people with heavier luggage should be aware of this. Otherwise the house is really convenient to the stores and restaurants of Vinalhaven and have a great view of the water. The dining area is a real plus! There is also a downstairs……

“This was the perfect house for us as we were in town visiting family and wanted something nearby. It is exactly as pictured. Modern, clean house nestled in the woods, bathed in natural light. The master bed was very comfortable. Bathrooms were spotless. Kitchen has everything you would need to cook. My favorite spot in the house was sitting at the kitchen island overlooking the ocean while enjoying breakfast every morning. Thank you very much for the walking trails. It was really nice to get……
