We lucked out with warmer weather than we expected for early May and enjoyed having this house as our home base as we explored Camden, Rockport/Rockland, Freeport, Damariscotta, The Botanic Garden in Boothbay, and even Portland for a special occasion dinner. The home was centrally located and was serene and peaceful; it exceeded our expectations. ”

“This house is amazing! We have been renting properties long before vrbo was in operation and this property is in the top 3. Is it perfect, no. But, it's darn close. Chris is wonderful to deal with. He has made his house a home away from home. Televisions are an issue but streaming worked in the living room and in the boat house (with a TV we brought). Very well stocked with every dish and pan you could need. Do not let the poor reviews deter you from staying at this lovely house because you will……

“Our family had a wonderful time at this property! 4 comfortable, private bedrooms for the 8 of us. A kitchen big enough for 4 cooks! A peninsula with 10 stools, and a large table to gather around. (We all want stainless steel counters in our kitchens now!) Port Clyde is a little off the beaten path, but we feel so lucky that we discovered this property! We loved to come back to the views, and the calm of the house after our sightseeing days to Acadia, Bar Harbor, Booth Bay and Brunswick. The……
