“The lodges are beautiful and comfortable and the views are amazing. The staf as well as the food they serve are great. Dont have the cocktails, thier not what you expect and are foul. But beautiful place. Would definitely go again”
“99% of the time no internet connection, no electricity most of the time, unable to charge phones or access internet. Amenities were below standard. Kinda disappointed ”
“Amazing. We were upgraded to a honey moon suite, they decorated our room and given goodies jumper. I am
Very grateful of the extra mile they took to make our day spacial. Hospitality is on top notch. Very professional.”
“The WIFI stopped working at night during my Canadian working hours. I couldn’t continue with work and my meetings but I was told by the front desk that I should have notified them so to give me another voucher. I then got a voucher in the morning although it was now late for my meetings. Overall it is good. Thank you”
“ The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. They took the time to stop and chat, genuinely caring about my experience. It was refreshing to have them check in and offer assistance before I even had to ask. If you’re looking for a welcoming atmosphere and top-notch service, this is the place to be.”
“If only they could have microwaves to warm take away foods, kettles to boil water to make tea or coffee They also have to fumigate their apartments, there are alot of cockroaches. Security looks slack as the outside is umanned and always open even with noone on the reception, intruders or assailants can easily walk in and ravage the holidaymakers willy nilly and walk out unnoticed ”
“The location is in the very centre of Bulawayo, with walking distance to both the Art Gallery (10 min) and The Natural History Museum (15 min). There are plenty of fast-food and restaurant options within minutes by foot from the hotel. Also, very easy to arrange pick-up/drop-off at the hotel as all tour operators doing excursions to Khami ruins, Great Zimbabwe ruins and Matobo NP know it.
The Selborne Hotel is clean, neat and I recommend it. Excellent location and very helpful staff.
