“Very nice little cabin just a few miles outside of Cloudcroft which we were looking for - lots of peace and quiet. Back of cabin had a lot of the biggest and most beautiful blue birds we had ever seen. Check in was a breeze - enjoyed our stay! ”

“Very comfortable home for 7 adults. Boys were drooling over the big screen TV! The spice collection in the kitchen was incredible! Just what we needed for spaghetti and chicken Alfredo! Super cute old fashioned book on cleaning tips (Haley’s cleaning hints) that I will no doubt purchase as a gift. Great place. Would stay again. ”

“The cabin was perfect for our needs. Walking distance to almost everything (including the OSHA and Trestle Trails) as well as the famed Burro Street! Truly enjoyed our visit in Cloudcroft and can’t wait to return!”

“Yurts were clean and cozy. Having AC was awesome, because it does indeed still heat up in the mountains during the summer. Sunset views were awesome. Two things I would make people aware of: VRBO advertises itself as different because you get the whole place to yourself. There are two other yurts right next to you, so the privacy is a bit lacking. I don’t mind much though, and there are trees separating the other guests, but you will hear and see others. Second, the last half mile to the place……

“Great hosts! Super accommodating. The check in process was easy and explained well. The kitchen had just about everything we needed especially since we were on vacation and looking forward to not cooking. Nice bathroom w/ shower. The beds were very comfortable. The cabin itself was nice and a little rustic; just what we were hoping for. Quiet & set in the woods with a wonderful view of a valley from the back deck. A perfect place to relax, kick back and enjoy the peace & quiet but close enough……

“Our stay in Cloudcroft was absolutely wonderful, we had some car troubles on the way down but the stay at Bigfoot’s Bunkhouse helped make the trip feel smooth and relaxing despite the situation. Our host Damian was very communicative and helpful during our stay and we will definitely be in contact with him again for our next trip out to New Mexico! ”

“This place was a perfect place to stay on my trip to. A few miles from Cloudcroft, but a quick drive up the mountain to the heart of the town with the added bonus of being close to the High Rolls hiking trails. When I had trouble with the entry code, the owner showed up in seconds to help me in. I didn't think the photos quite did the place justice - there were three beds and lots of comfy seating. The huge front patio looked out on a lovely enclosed private yard. The wood fireplace was enjoyed……

“What a cozy place to stay! The cabin had everything I needed and then some. The host didn’t forget a thing. It was very clean, quiet, well stocked, and comfortable. I would definitely recommend it and would book again if i come back to this sweet little spot of paradise. ”
