“An amazing quite place to spend a couple of days exploring Alamogordo and the White Sands. Set up on the side of the Sacramento Mountains, the views are incredible. Sitting on the deck in the morning as the sun came up behind us was a great experience. The home itself was meticulously decorated with artwork and high-end furniture. A well-stocked kitchen and enough linens made the experience delightful. He even provided saucer sleds to take to White Sands to slide down the dunes. Edward……

“We loved our stay in Cloudcroft. The cottage was cozy and comfortable. There is a small treehouse with a slide just outside. There were deer and wild horses outside the window. You could easily walk into town for dinner. And the host really went above and beyond to get an item that we left in there back to us. ”

For the price, I would have expected it to be cleaner (dirty: silverware in the drawer, frying pan, coffee maker, dish towel, etc., was dusty, and there was trash around the outside property. The grill was full of grease and dirty.) Aside from that, we had an enjoyable stay. The house was comfortable. The area is quiet with elk visiting the backyard area. There are several areas to relax on the porch/decks outside and the house is close to downtown and hiking trails. ”

“This place was a perfect place to stay on my trip to. A few miles from Cloudcroft, but a quick drive up the mountain to the heart of the town with the added bonus of being close to the High Rolls hiking trails. When I had trouble with the entry code, the owner showed up in seconds to help me in. I didn't think the photos quite did the place justice - there were three beds and lots of comfy seating. The huge front patio looked out on a lovely enclosed private yard. The wood fireplace was enjoyed……

“Our three night stay went well! We were a little deceived by the pictures, thinking this cabin was secluded. It’s in a neighborhood and the next door neighbors had 4 or 5 dogs that barked the entire time we were in the backyard. The fence is very short, but fortunately our two bigger dogs didn’t seem to mind. The neighborhood was otherwise very quiet! The kitchen is VERY well stocked with just about anything you need to cook a nice meal. The cabin was fairly clean, but the carpet in the living……

“The townhouse is close to everything while be far enough from the main road that it is quiet. The fire place was amazing, the whole stay was comfortable and exactly what my son wanted for his 12th birthday. ”
