“Family road trip from eastern nc to Ohio for nephew’s birthday. Check in was easy and property owner easy to reach and responsive. Area had just recently flooded but waters had receded such that roads were clear throughout our stay. Some businesses near by were not opened due to cleanup. “Great place to stay... i feel like it wasnt advertised as well as it could have been. We loved the gas fireplace. Was concerned about check-in as i hadnt heard from the owner, but within a day of our arrival i reached out and the owner was always fast and responsive at that point. Any concerns vanished. What we appreciated the most about the property was the locale and its cleanliness. “Very nice stay. Comfortable for two adults and two children. Ceiling fan was nice to have as I usually like lots of air movement regardless of temperature. All seating (for four) was reclinable which really was a good thing after walking all over the ark encounter and level two zip lining. “This is a cute, well-maintained property. It has nice touches like bottled water with flavorings and microwave popcorn for guests. The house has character and is located close to downtown.
