“The property is beautiful! It had many outdoor activities for all ages. Our group of 22 has ages ranging from mid 20’s into the 70’s. Between the hiking trails, fire pit, fishing pond, hot tub, horse shoe pit, and gathering space, it was perfect. The house is beautifully laid out in that we were able to eat our meals as a group and gather space was organized so we could all be together. “Quiet, secluded and peaceful. I loved the screened in porch for late night conversations and while It rained. The cabin was very spacious and the fire pit was perfect. The last renters left some items around like socks in a kayak renters left ”

“My daughter and I stayed here this past weekend. She turned 18 earlier in the month and just committed to a college finally so it was just a little getaway for us but the property is exactly as pictured. Totally adorable!!!! Everything is so clean, quiet and relaxing. No complaints from us whatsoever. We plan on returning for sure!”

“We stayed here while in town for a wedding. We had 13 adults and one child. This is such a neat old house with so many cool features. We had a fun time exploring the house and admiring the unique features like the Jefferson doors to the porches, the old coal dump, and all the super cool antiques in the home. All of the bedrooms have a sink in them which was really awesome and helpful for when we were all getting ready at the same time. Our only feedback is that the pillows were a little hard and……

“The check in alone should have been a red flag, it was an outdoor service window. The room itself was awful. It was small and cramped and freezing cold. The bed had two very flat pillows (thankfully we always bring our own from home). My fiance went to put his drinks in the refrigerator and couldn't even leave them in there because it was so dirty. The room didn't warm up enough for us to even be comfortable for like 5 hours (no exaggerating). The bathroom had a tiny little shower stall, and a……

“We enjoyed beautiful weather during our long weekend away from home just reconnecting with nature and family. We enjoyed all that the cabin offers, hot tub, stream, kayaks, fire pit and rocking chairs. It is a bit off the beaten path but that is what we were looking for as we got away. Even when a severe storm rolled through the hosts had someone come out early in the morning to get a generator running for us. I highly recommend this cabin if you are looking to disconnect and relax in nature……
