The cleaning gal was finishing when we arrived, but we had tickets that afternoon for the WCWS, so we needed to unload and head to the ball park. The house is cute and worked great for us! “We really enjoyed our stay. The house was really clean with comfortable beds and furnishings. Check in was great with no problems. The location was perfect for us since it was between Norman and OKC, but it’s tucked back in the neighborhood. Nice peace of mind to have an accessible storm shelter since we stayed in May. “We arrived Thursday at check-in time (4pm), dropped our bags and then headed over to the Embassy Suites for setup. We got back to the house a few hours later and collapsed on the super-comfy sectional sofa. And that pretty much describes the next 2 days! We showered, slept, cooked and ate there. The neighborhood is calm and quiet, and the duplex was a chilled-out haven. My friend had high praise for her bed (she was in the primary suite), mine was comfy too, and both of us loved having our own……

I was skeptical at first because there were no reviews when we booked, but after contacting the owner, she informed me that this was a newly listed property. I even reached out to Vrbo to ask how they vet the hosts to ensure no scams are being run. Well, we checked in late at night, and the neighborhood was quiet. It is literally located a few blocks across from the Tinker military base, and at rare times we would hear the fighter jets,……

“Overall, we were happy with our stay. There was a blanket left in dryer and a wash rag in the washer (We just left it be, as we had no intentions of needing to use those appliances). We honestly ate out the whole week, so other than bathrooms and beds for sleeping, we didn't need anything else. House is in a perfect location! We came to storm chase, but were thankful for the shelter when we had severe weather roll in at 5am. Property owner was very nice and communicated well. We enjoyed our stay……
