“We drove 14 hours and this was just the place we needed to unwind and get a good nights sleep. Pet friendly and quite the charming decor. The extra large bed was quite comfortable and plenty enough to share with my teenager with tons of room. The gorgeous setting and vintage decor made it all a worthwhile experience. Loved the chickens roaming freely and we were wishing we had more time to enjoy this hidden gem. I would stay here again on our next trip through! It’s a little off the highway……

“It was a quiet clean little place to stay. Walking distance to a grocery store and fast food joints. I met Ryan the owner, he was a super nice guy, he was flexible and easy to work with. His place was stocked with all the essentials. I was there for work, but it would be a great home base for a vacation getaway. There's plenty to see in the surrounding towns. If I'm ever in the area for work or pleasure I will definitely contact Ryan and see If he has a place available to stay.”

“The ONLY complaint we had was the 3 flights of stairs which we knew about ahead of time but didn’t make it any easier on the over 60 folks carrying up luggage and supplies. “The apartment worked well for us as we visited Beckley and the New River NP. We loved having a full size refrigerator and freezer, an everything we needed in the kitchen. The wine and coffee was an enjoyable bonus. The hosts were very responsive. The living room area was very comfortable. There is a short stairway to the adjacent vehicle parking, but no issue for two fit seniors. It was nice having free, designated parking for the apartment. We would stay there again if we return to the area. ”
