“What a special place the owners have created! We were a crowd of 11 for four nights and this property was perfect. Even in August, Deer Creek was too cold to do much more than wade up to our knees, but no matter -Nevada City and California's wild rivers provided us with all that we came to enjoy.Surrounded by pine trees, the big house is exactly as pictured. “Location is beautiful (the stars are amazing!) and the house is absolutely wonderful. It has everything you need and the vibe is very relaxing and welcoming. We made use of the projector for movie nights which was super fun. One heads up - the master bedroom does not have any curtains, so I recommend eye masks for sleeping! Otherwise, 10/10 excellent and would totally come back! ”

“This place was amazing!! Only a couple of blocks from downtown restaurants. We did mornings at the river with the kids and then had dinner and ice cream in town with the kids. Made some great memories.”

“Beautiful location, surrounded by trees, and private. Canal was a bonus. Nice rooms with thick carpet. Comfortable beds. Right off the freeway, but good insulation blocks sound when inside. We loved the flickering "fairy" lights on the trees at night!Owners friendly and helpful. Caution for mobility-challenged: ascending slope to house is steep, and stairs on the lower section don't have handrails.Overall, a great option in the area and would rent again!”

“This cabin is perfect for a stay for a small family or couple. All necessary accommodations are available the environment was so cozy and clean. The host has good communication and was willing to accommodate our dog that recently got hurt right before our trip and our child whom we had to take our trip. The host even offered a Air mattress if needed. This is a highly recommended VRBO and I would definitely stay again at this location! ”
