“A great place to stay in Birchwood with friends and family. The place was clean and had everything that we needed to make us feel at home. The host was friendly, helpful, and accommodating at every point during the booking process. The only issue we came across was the slightly confusing access road...perhaps additional signage would help clarify direction toward the property a bit better. Otherwise, no complaints! Thanks for a great stay!”

“Our large group stayed at the cabin while in town for a Men’s Hockey Tournament. The cabin was perfect for our group, good location for Stone Lake and Hayward, and easy access. There was plenty of space and the coordination of the cabin by Cassidy was great. Location was quiet, yet accessible. Would highly recommend, it was perfect for our group.”

“This was our third visit. We have gotten pretty good at dealing with the heating issues. Cold (41 degrees when we arrived) in the lower level and hot on the top 2 floors. This time we had a new challenge. We had to limit our water usage due to the septic system being frozen. I appreciated the extra effort the owner made to have the holding tank pumped rather than cancel our reservation, but it was stressful not knowing if each toilet flush might be the one that maxed out our 1000-gallon……

“We had an amazing time at this cabin. The sunsets are very pretty and it was quiet most of the time. We stayed six nights and we are likely to return again. The hosts are amazing. They live next door and when the was a threat of severe weather, they let us put our car in their garage. We appreciated that.”

“Location was perfect for the race and the price was right. Listing said room for 6, which was technically accurate but it was difficult to see that the beds were not very private. Only one bed has privacy. Other than that I found the place a fantastic deal and the host was wonderful at communicating. Had a nice patio and fire pit to relax”

The view of the lake from the large deck was spectacular, with small islands in the distance and clear, sparkling water. We kayaked around the islands and saw loons, geese on their nests, and an eagle in a pine treetop. The cabin was clean, comfort-able and well-appointed. Communication was great!”

“Our family celebrated Christmas this year at this beautiful cabin. It is spacious, with lots of room for people to do different activities (games, crafts, read, cook). The kitchen was fully stocked. The only thing we could not find is a corkscrew. The table was large enough so that the entire family could eat together at each meal. There are four bedrooms and a loft. My husband and I slept in the loft. Since the loft overlooks the main common area, we used the (provided) fan for "white noise"……
