“It was a good experience overall, other than a couple of guys inspecting the back of the property one morning. And we had yard work happening one morning. Later that week, both of the entrances to the cottage were being paved while we were out, and we had no way back to the property . All in all it was an ok experience.”

“The little “camp” was spotless, the decor modern and impressive, attention to every detail and comfort well-thought out, and amenities numerous. There were cozy spots for reading or gazing out at the lake. The deck allowed for serious star-gazing. The location is quiet, yet a short drive from bustling Portland or quieter towns. I enjoyed kayaking on the lovely, clear, clean lake, as well as long walks on the camp roads. Check-in/checkout was a breeze. An idyllic getaway!!”

“When we arrived at the property, it was exactly as described in the listing and even a little larger than we expected. The setting was beautiful and so peaceful! I loved watching the water from my seat around the fire and listening to all of the woodland creatures going about their day. My son also loved that it was a "classic" Maine Camp.... it was just like one would imagine. We would definitely recommend and stay here again.”

“This dog friendly 2BR cottage is right on crystal clear Tripp Lake, with a large screened in porch/family room. It is small but very well appointed and maintained. The weekend we were there it was very quiet, and we had the beach to ourselves. Enjoyed kayaking, hiking nearby, and hearing the loons daily. Owners and manager were very thoughtful and responsive. Highly recommend!”

“We loved the cottage, moved in very late day so didn’t notice the floors till sunny next morning…..the floors had never been vacuumed. Other than that, we really liked the cottage.”

“We had a fabulous time. You would never know there was a town 2 miles from the house. It was very peaceful and welcoming. The cottage was very clean and had no issues what so ever. We were able to choose from quite a few events going on in the area and enjoy the fall foliage. ”

“Beautiful, private cottage with exceptional hosts. Lisa was attentive and accommodating to our needs, and very easy to communicate with. The house was immaculate, and very thoughtfully decorated. We brought our boat and were grateful for the private dock...we had a great time fishing, waterskiing and exploring the lake as well as traveling up the Songo River thru the locks. We had a wonderful, wholesome family vacation and look forward to visiting again. Thank you for opening up your home to us!”

“The rental did not have a king-sized bed as advertised. (I even specifically asked beforehand and was reassured that it did.) There weren't any hot mitts or kitchen towels. Two of the bedrooms are missing blinds and the sprayer for the kitchen sink does not work. Upon arrival we found a bottle of Advil propping open the window in the bedroom with bunk beds. This is unsafe since we had young children with us. The amenities mentioned spices and a baby gate, but those could not be found.……
