“This cabin is exactly what we need for a quick getaway. It is easy to find, with a spacious yet cozy layout. The white pine interior, high ceilings, and natural light encourage relaxation while the fully stocked kitchen makes it easy to prepare a quick meal. A lot of attention was put into comfort; there are several seating choices, and all are very comfortable and well arranged. The beds are cloud soft and are easy on older joints. “This is a quiet and well kept property. Plenty of room to find a quiet space to relax by the river. A private dock to launch a kayak, swim or tube. The view was great . All amenities for outdoor activities were setup like Volleyball and badminton. Also a nice fire pit with plenty of outdoor seating. Get your own wood . Tiki torches were set up but you have to bring your own fuel also. We brought our own kayak. The kitchen was equipped with all pans and utensils to cook and a great big grill……

“Really cute, comfortable cabin. Clean. Decorated with a designer eye. (Only downside is the Wi-Fi wasn't really connected to the internet at the time of stay but cell signal sufficed.)”

“Though it rained all weekend, we still went paddle boating. We watched the sunsets and saw rainbows over Trickey. Lastly, we were able to relax.”

“ This cabin is in such a great location! Steps away from the water with kayaks, floats and paddle boards provided. We even saw a bald eagle soar across the ski while floating in front of the dock! The host Braden was extremely accommodating to us and promptly answered all the questions I had. ”

“Wonderful house in a convenient, quiet location! Perfect for skiing at Pleasant Mountain. ”

“Went up in a groups of 4. Everyone had a bed to sleep on, stocked with plenty of necessities, and was the perfect location for our ice fishing trip. Plenty of ice on the lake and we got into a couple of lake trout. Great place to stay.”

“Cute cabin, Not maintained. We arrived late evening to the cabin with all sheets / towels all dirty on the floor. After multiple calls, property manager texted that the cleaner did not show. A new cleaner would come the next day but there are clean sheets in the garage. The tables were sticky, the carpet dusty as if it has never been vacuumed. The lovely cleaning person arrived after lunch and took the dirty pile of sheets and made our beds, which was nice of her. After a day of swimming the……

“Me and my husband absolutely loved this cottage and the setting. Frye Island is such a cute place and we really enjoyed our stay and can't wait to come back. It was a 15 minute walk to the ferry and store where we got picked up for a fishing charter. The beaches on the south and west side of the island were absolutely beautiful and I wish we could have spent more time there. 1.5 baths and plenty of space, very private setting at the cottage really help us enjoy our stay.”

“I had a wonderful time and the hosts were so kind. But it was difficult to get into your website to speak with the host once an email was sent to me. I was able to get a number to call customer service and got the host phone number and address to destination but GPS sent me to the wrong address but someone helped me to find it. And and email was not sent until the day I was going wishniy was sooner”

“My partner and I had a great week at this lovely camp. It was the perfect size for us and had everything we needed. The beds are comfortable, as is the livingroom furniture, nice shower, huge kitchen sink, and we used the screen porch a LOT. It is very close to the water, which is hard to find. The cottages are family owned and we couldn't have felt more welcome. The shared beach area was perfect for launching the kayaks they provided to explore this very peaceful pond. “My family and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at this property on Parker Pond from Aug.19-27th. The 4 of us (kids ages 6 and 11) as well as our 2 pups really loved this cozy cabin. The beautiful views from the porch, the great dock to sit and sip coffee and the availability of SUP boards and kayaks were all highlights. “We had a fantastic stay at Bowhaven cabin! It was extremely clean—truly spotless—and clearly very well cared for. Kez and Kyle are wonderful hosts: super communicative, welcoming, and thoughtful from start to finish. You can tell they take great pride in the property.
