“Our stay was in the middle of June and it was wonderful. The house was awesome and very comfortable. The location was great right up against the national forest. If you are looking for a secluded getaway this is the perfect spot. ”

This part of New Mexico is very rural so you need to be prepared for that groceries, incidentals, etc. We knew this so were prepared. The property was just great peaceful and quiet, night skies full of stars, and scenery of the landscapes everywhere just beautiful. ”

“The backyard was amazing and made the stay here worth it just by itself! Lots of seating right along the river and a picnic table. The flowers and grass were well maintained. The inside of the house had everything we needed for our 2-day stay. The only thing I’ll say is there is no cell service there but they did have WiFi that worked great. Overall we would definitely recommend!”

“This was my second visit to La Lomita. Last summer I stayed with my teen son and this year I came back with my husband for our first solo vacation in TEN years. La Lomita was perfect for its proximity to Santa Fe, Chimayo, and Taos, but what really drew us was the quiet, beauty. We felt like we were in a world to ourselves. We especially loved sitting on the porch, drinking coffee and reading. My favorite Expedia/VRBO stay ever. ”

“This adobe sits amid the most beautiful vistas in Abiquiu area. The artistic intent is evident in the charming adobe, from the hewn wood beams and trim, rock walls and walkway, stone shower, and SW decor. I was looking for solitude and found it here. Very close to O’Keefe museum, Plaza Blanca and Ghost Ranch. On clear nights, the constellations were too many to count as the Milky Way arched over the casita. Perfect for a getaway for 1-2 people. The host was very responsive to questions.”

Definitely the place to stay if you want to explore the beauty of northern New Mexico.”

“Overall, probably one of the best VRBO properties we’ve stayed in. From the private deck to the amazingly well stocked kitchen to the beautiful walks around the property and the yoga decks. It is a bit off of the beaten track, but that is something we really like. Just make sure you have the supplies you need on arrival. Very friendly hosts. We’ll be back.”

“We loved our stay at Los Alamos. The home was a cozy place to call home. There were six of us so it was snug, but super fun. Plenty of heaters a to keep you warm too. We cooked our meals and the kitchen was nicely stocked too. ”

“This was a great place for our base as my brothers and I explored the Valles Caldera and surrounding area. The home is fresh, clean, and accommodating. It’s conveniently located to dining and attractions in and around the beautiful town of Los Alamos, and the property owners are quick to respond to any question you might have. We spent most of our time in the outdoors, but this property was a great place to come “home” to.”

“It’s a pretty isolated property. Lots of peace and serenity. The kids did dogs and s’mores after building a campfire. If you have a Tesla this probably isn’t the best place. Taos does not have a supercharger and the closest one is in Sante Fe. Actually I would stay away from Taos all together if you have a Tesla. Other than that ( it’s not the property fault) the place was great. Had a neat hiking trail, fire pit, some neat art work in the typical New Mexico vibe. If you love nature this is a……
