“Overall our stay at Medewi Bay Retreat was wonderful. Since this was our first trip to Bali, we didn’t have a lot of experience with the different areas of the island, and didn’t realize how remote this area was. We knew Medewi was a very popular surf destination and nearby to Negara, but other than that it is a far more rural/remote area than Kuta, Changgu or Ubud. Our best suggestion when booking any place in this area is making sure you are able to drive/rent a scooter in this area because……

“It's a beautiful newish property with spectacular views!! It was clean and staff was super helpful and friendly. The only negative is that it is hard to find - no signs on main street and kind of bad path off the main road. The outside of the property seems to be worked on still so hopefully it will all be resolved once finished. Also not much to do right around there - but that is probably the case for many places around Bali.”

“Beautiful but limited . Gym was extremely basic. Spa was nice. The rooms are nice but shower leaked all over floor no matter what you did to position shower head. Overall nice but nothing incredible ”

“Die Unterkunft verfügt über eigene "Baumhäuser", die sehr ruhig gelegen sind und der Ausblick ist traumhaft. Die Hütte ist sehr groß und in Holz gehalten. Teilweise kann es im Inneren etwas ziehen und der Boden knartschen. Der Ausblick beim Duschen nach draußen ist ebenfalls einmalig, genauso wie beim Pool. Die Frühstücksauswahl ist super lecker und auch abends kann man hier gut essen. Nachmittags kann man sich Cocktails oder Smoothies am Pool schmecken lassen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich……

“Nous avons passé un moment fantastique dans cet hôtel !! Les jardins sont magnifiques. Deux belles piscines, calme et sérénité, un véritable havre de paix avec un personnel au petits soins et extrêmement sympathiques... Beaucoup de superlatifs mais complètement justifiés !
