The hotel driver, Made, drove us to wherever we needed to go and gave us a great tour of the area, so definitely ask for him at reception if you need to travel around!”

“Look, we loved our stay here. We wanted an authentic experience surrounded by real Bali. Real locals, not overrun with tourists, good food and away from the traffic and bustle. It was perfect. We met with our local Balinese friends here that were made to feel very welcome. The staff were authentically friendly, no touristy pretense. “Die Unterkunft liegt an sich sehr schön. Morgens aufstehen und auf Palmen und Dschungel blicken zu können ist wirklich ein Erlebnis wert ! Das Personal ist auch recht freundlich. Jedoch ist das Frühstück nicht wirklich üppig. Auch wurden von uns zwei unterschiedliche Gerichte zum Frühstück Bestellt (Am Abend vorher muss man eine Karte mit der Bestellung ausfüllen), jedoch brachte man uns 2 Mal das gleiche mit einer etwas fragwürdigen Begründung. “A beautiful setting with wonderful staff, even if one or two lacked attentiveness. The bamboo bungalow was beautiful. The bed and beddings were 5/5; very comfortable. Unfortunately, the accolades stop there. Because the "retreat" is so remote, there are no other eating options nearby so guests have to rely on the hotel restaurant. As good as the food was (save for the cold soups), the options were very limited. This was unacceptable given we were the only guests and the menu was not extensive at……
