A quiet, calm and convenient location - especially for getting on the first lifts. Could do with refreshing the cutlery and crockery as a couple of items missing, but that is the worst it gets. “A l’arrivé, pas de code d’entrée ni la clé. On a du appelé plusieurs fois pour obtenir cela. 1/2h plus tard, rentée dans l’appart, surprise, le lieu n’était pas nettoyé. Il y a tu des traces de chips, poussière gris au sol, sous le lit. J’ai immédiatement contacté, encore 1 fois, qu’il m’a dit que le lieu était nettoyé… Il ma dit qu’il nous envoie la femme de ménage lendemain mais jamais venue, on a jamais plus entendu! Le lieu se trouve au centre de village mais le service est assez……

“Check in procedure was diabolical. No clear signs, no clear idea what building to check into. People milling about with absolutely no idea where to go. We walked (no mean feat in the mountains) to one building as there were no signs on the building the email directed us to, and luckily, they found our booking, but we were at the wrong hotel. When we got to the "right" hotel, they couldn't find our booking - absolute shambles. We were "lucky" we didn't have young children in tow. Also the……

“ A notre arrivée, que nous avions avertie être tardive, l appartement qui devait être laissé ouvert était fermé. Arrivés de nuit, avec un brouillard épais, nous sommes arrivés par l'arrière du batiment , où il y a d'autres résidences. Pas d'indication de la réception qui se trouve de l'autre côté de notre batiment, donc pas de contact visible. Après 3/4 heures dans le froid et les chutes de neige, grâce à une cliente, qui vivait la même mésaventure, on a pu appeler la gardienne. En nous……

“I have traveled to the Les Arcs area many times, but I have never had such a terrible experience. The hotel room was absolutely terrible: dirty, moldy, and not at all suitable for families. The guest bathroom and bedroom probably haven't been cleaned in decades. The furniture appears to be original, and the bedding is stinky. Additionally, I paid extra for the sheet set, only to find it stained, as if it had never been washed. Communication with the owner was also terrible. Please, DO NOT TAKE……

“Tout d'abord, l'accès : aucune indication dans la station pour indiquer le bâtiment de la résidence. Ensuite, si toutes les autres résidences affichent sur leur fronton leur nom bien visible depuis la route, Le Varet se contente d'un nom au-dessus de la porte principale située qui n'est pas visible depuis la route et le parking à proximité. Bref, grosse galère pour trouver le bâtiment. Enfin, l'état général de la chambre est moyen et il ne faut pas regarder de trop prêt la qualité du ménage……
