"Went for a one night stay. Hotel looks impressive but a bit tired inside. Staff were pleasant but could be a bit more friendly. They were young so perhaps just need some time."

"A really well run hotel and a pleasure to stay in. We overnighted on our way back from a tour in Scotland and were very impressed it outshone other hotels on our trip and was great value for money. The food offerings were really good too. We will definitely return."

"We wanted to stay in Melrose as it was perfectly placed to visit family living in the area . We were delighted to have chosen the cotttage as it was in a perfect location only a 2 min walk down to the Market Place and the shops Melrose Abbey ,pubs, coffee shops and restaurants.
