“The view and deck is just as described, beautiful. There was plenty of room for 7 adults and 1 toddler. The house was nicely decorated and the kitchen great for cooking our meals.”

“It was my husband’s birthday and we wanted a little getaway. This place was perfect it was so nice to have the water right in our backyard. The two tvs in the living room were perfect one for football and other for my switch to play games. Hot tub was also a plus! We will be back for another stay!! ”

“What a wonderful place to stay! My husband and I enjoyed a two night visit without young adult children who loved floating the Peluxy River right off the back patio. Walkable to everything we needed! The home is warm and inviting and had all of the amenities needed. Thank you, Heather, for your hospitality.”

“Great stay on Lake Whitney. Easy check-in and no issues during our stay. Great location and enjoyed swimming in the lake and fossil hunting at the property. ”

“Jeff was fantastic to communicate with and very prompt in responding when we had a few questions. This home was the perfect little cabin for our little family of 3. Well stocked with the essentials, plus board games, CDs and DVDs to enjoy the lack of wifi. The backyard was well maintained with a great little path down to the lake. The sunroom was the absolute perfect place to sit a drink coffee while watching the rain fall. Would definitely stay again. ”

“The home was comfortable and cozy. Kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed cooking in it and on the grill. The deer feeder was wonderful. There were 2 bucks and 2 doe that visited every morning and evening. We also saw several rabbits, squirrels and a road runner. The outside spaces were well thought out with views that were absolutely beautiful. The fire pit overlooked the valley below and the sunsets were stunning. We will return to stay again. It was convenient to Dinosaur Valley State……

“The pictures of this place does not do it justice. It’s actually larger than what I expected. Plenty of living space to relax and watch TV. It was clean and updated. The view of the lake is spectacular and the deck was a perfect place to watch the sunset. We would definitely rent this place again! ”
