“Poorly maintained. Had trouble u nlocking & opening front door upon arrival. Neighbour helped. Doors do not fit properly. Decking, sidings peeling & holes. Ants in kitchen. Cover on BBQ does not fit properly. Could not do any fishing due to weeds but told i could. Picture in listing disheaving. Pool table shown but no cues or balls. Chairs very uncomfortable. “This is a lovely place to come to for relaxation. Perfectly situated to explore the surrounding area. It is roomy, comfortable and excellently equipped with everything you need for your stay. Being pet friendly is an added bonus. I would suggest that the checkin email be sent out a couple of days ahead of the renter’s stay, especially when people are travelling a distance to get there. Stayed September 2024. ”

I booked this location due to having a boat dock where I could keep my boat in the water. Pretty much mud at dock with only 6" of water at the end where owners pontoon boat was docked. Any other type of fishing boat, including mine would……

“The family enjoyed the Thanksgiving weekend with great views from all the rooms and hallways with fresh air. The bed mattresses were really comfortable. However, there were bunch of issues including inefficient dishwasher, hazardous electrical outlets at the same level as the kitchen sink and no labels on the drawers or cabinets. It was time consuming search for kitchen stuff. Owner was not easily reachable. Otherwise it was value for money.”

“This property is in a lovely location with some marvellous outdoor options. It is close enough to Ottawa to be able to experience all the area has to offer yet far enough out to find peaceful relaxation if you prefer. The houseboat is such a unique experience. “Online information false/misleading and the property is completely unsuitable for anyone with even minor mobility issues. I was booked for two nights but left after one and went to a motel. - notwithstanding what the website advertises, this cabin does NOT have a bathroom. “Our group has stayed at this house twice now to visit family nearby. The property and the house are beautiful and very clean. It had everything we needed and then some. The host is lovely and easy to get ahold of. We will be staying here again! ”
