“The staff at breakfast and dinner were excellent. At breakfast one morning, they ran out of the only hot item, eggs and never brought out more. I assume they didn't have any more to be served. Many people came and had to go without. Also, at check-in there were the hosts little kids running around which was kind of annoying.”

“Beautiful room and view from the balcony!! The room was very clean and staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast each morning was delicious and we loved that it was included in the cost! The hotel is very close to the train station which was perfect for us and as close to town. There was some construction going on during our stay, but it had nothing to do with the hotel. We had a wonderful stay! ”

“A gem of a location. Our room looked over the clock tower with the mountains towering in the background. It was picture postcard perfect. Rooms apear to have been newly renovated. It was a very quiet and comfortable location. The village of Chiavenna is beautiful, looking like it has been untouched by time. Our only regret is we didn’t stay longer. ”

“I am nostalgic for Casa Pasini Foresteria! The hosts are so warm and friendly, the rooms are elegant, comfortable, charming, clean. Tucked in the hillside of Piuro, near Chiavenna, with a beautiful view. Breakfast is a delicious - cappuccino, tea, local pastries and breads, jams, honey, yogurt, fruit and fresh squeezed orange juice. Perfection! ”

“Praktische Zimmer für Familien in unmittelbarer grüner Umgebung (die allerdings wiederum am Rande eines kleinen Gewerbegebiets liegt), in der Nähe des Comer Sees. Sehr nette, sehr hilfsbereite Leute, gutes Restaurant im Haus. Für zwei, drei Nächte sind die Zimmer sicherlich absolut okay, für länger wären sie mir persönlich zu klein. Einziger wirklicher Minuspunkt ist, dass es doch sehr hellhörig ist. Das schreiende Baby im Nachbarzimmer machte eine erholsame Nacht schwierig. ”
