“Upon Friday arrival, entered gate and the brick walk to the front door was covered in sand and dirt. To the left of the front door on the porch sat a styrofoam cooler, lid to the side and a bag of garbage in it. Inside the house seemed reasonably clean but by the time we visited each room we had killed two scorpions. Out back by the lakeside the nice grass that is portrayed in the listing appears to have not been mowed this year and had sticker burrs growing closer to the house. On the back……

“This was my second stay at Doe's Hideaway. It is a serene and beautiful setting, and the house is perfect appointed. It is 15-20 minutes easy commute from downtown Waco & Baylor University. It is perfect for porch sitting, walks, fishing and watching the stars. ”

“The house was wonderful. The beds were soft, rooms were cool to sleep in. Everything was provided pots pans dishes cups toaster coffee pot. We enjoyed it very much.”

“Celebrating Mom’s 90th birthday. She lives on Richland-Chambers Lake. Her house is small and I wanted a second location to host my family. The property is beautiful and private. The main living area is open with plenty of space for gathering and dining. Kitchen is well equipped. Large deck off living space. Large bunk room and game room downstairs as well. Upstairs bedrooms were nice with King size beds. My family members are 30 but this would be a great place for younger kids, especially teens……
