“Our stay in Bridgend at the Cartref house was spectacular. We are three women in our 60/70's visiting Wales using public transportation. The Cartref house is close to the bus and train stations so we were able to travel all over south Wales. We were so happy at the end of the day when we got back to our lovely Bridgend home. And it truly was a home. Everything we needed was supplied. On warm days we rested in a gorgeous garden and on cold evenings we enjoyed a fireplace and central heating. The……

“Overall the place worked. It was nice to be able to walk to the town. However, there is no parking on site, there is street parking only. After arriving I was notified that there was a limited amount of paper products (I think it was like 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom & 1 roll of paper towels), so you had to provide your own if you needed more. That was quite a turn off. Good thing we were only there for 2 nights! The last thing I wanna do on vacation is to shop for tp. We did not cook in……

“Lovely and clean. Everything that you could possibly need was there. Excellent quality of bedroom and bathroom linen. Welcome milk in the fridge and Welsh cakes. Marvellous!”
