“I could live there. The screened in porch was where I spent most of my time watching the creek flow by. The geese visited every day, also a young racoon, bunny, a mink, two fawn made appearances and a turtle strolled lazily by one afternoon on his way back to the creek. The cottage was stocked above and beyond what I expected. Were there things not to MY liking, of course, we all see things differently, but nothing that would deter me from returning. We had our dogs with us and they were……

“We stayed in a cabin so my comments only apply to our experience there., The property is very pretty, there is a pond or two, a shuffleboard course, a mini golf course and a playground or two. There was a pool but it was closed when we were there (late Sept). The two small issues that I would bring up are 1) the showers seem to be either completely hot or cold but nothing in between and 2) mattresses in the cabins are a bit stiff. Not a problem for us but it may be for others. ”

“Beautiful, well maintained cabin inside and out. Private location beside a creek, surrounded by woods yet very close to everything you need. Will hopefully rent it again. ”

“The cabin was cozy and secluded - a great way to spend our anniversary! The weather wasn't great, but we were only 15 minutes from our favorite antique mall, and we spent the time at the cabin watching old movies on VCR, reading, and just relaxing on the porch. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had all the necessities we needed. ”

“This farm house had everything we needed. Privacy galore! Enjoyed family time sitting around a campfire listening to the frogs sing from a nearby pond.House was clean and beds were very comfortable. The host immediately responded to any questions we had. We were able to take our dog who had lots of space to investigate. A most enjoyable couple of days at “Grandmas House”. ”

“We spent two nights to enjoy a full day in the state forests. The cabin was very clean. It's exactly as pictured. A small space with a couple beds and a table. The showers are a 2-3 minute walk from the cabin, or a shorter drive. The check-in/check-out process was very easy.”

“The property was as described and a wonderful spot for our laid back vacation. Quiet. Comfortable. Simple, but more than adequately equipped.”
