“The property is under construction, which is only disclosed after booking. The floors are unfinished, some items (undermount microwave) are visible but not yet installed and it feels like you’re living through a renovation, e.g. bathroom mirror was installed and the drywall has not been sanded. The location is great - quiet and away from the crowds. The size for two humans and two large dogs was good. The downstairs bedroom has a mattress that was purchased circa 1985 and it’s very springy,……

“Our stay at Andrew's cottage was delightful. We spent a few nights here while on our honeymoon roadtrip through Maine. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed to cook dinners and have a relaxing trip! We visited Acadia as a day trip (~1 hr drive), but we actually enjoyed our time on Spring River Lake and hiking near the cottage more than Acadia! Nothing beats having morning coffee on a private beach, kayaking at sunset, or hiking Black Mountain and jumping in Schoodic Beach……

“Very nice cottage , and clean. the Picture on your site, makes the Cottage look like it was right on the beach , which it is not. Its on a cliff, which was fine for us , but not fine for children. This is why We took 1 star away from the on line listing”

“No need to communicate with property manager as everything was in good condition and self explanatory. Large group arrived at second property which did impact us a bit but we were leaving the next day so not an issue. ”

“Very pretty house with a perfect mix of open living space and well designed sleeping area. The rooms had nice beds and pillows. Living area had pretty open space incorporating the living room and dining room. It also had a view from kitchen. Overall a great place to stay!”

“We loved Bar Harbor. The house is walkable to the town square. It was quiet and has off street parking. Management responded quickly to a maintenance concern. The kitchen had what we needed. Wi-Fi for 7 people was tough but we liked our stay.”
