“What a beautiful space! It was very clean and the area quite remote. In the mornings, we saw deer and wild turkey. And so many birds! We didn’t hike any any trails, but there was a great guide available in the home that showed the property lines and gave info about the property! It was great for us and our kiddos. ”

“This cozy, beautifully decorated and organized cottage had everything I needed for my short term rental with my dog Sophie. It was spotless, probably one of the cleanest homes I’ve seen, and provided a comfortable stay with a well equipped kitchen, WiFi TV and AC. The cottage is close to other homes, but it’s a peaceful and quiet area. The few neighbors I encountered were very friendly. I would definitely return to this lovely home.”

Good variety of outdoor places to sit between screened porch and outdoor fire pit plus outdoor and indoor family games to play. Access was easy and everything worked as expected. “This was our family's first time to Candlewood Lake/Squantz Pond. The area is picturesque and the location of this property is perfect. The porch off of the living area directly overlooks Squantz Pond and mountains. The basement was ideal for teenagers with a projector screen, air hockey/pool, and exercise equipment.
