“We went out on a limb and found this gorgeous property to get married at. With honesty and great communication with our host they allowed us to have a few extra guest to perform our wedding ceremony. We didn’t need anything big or fancy but the sanctuary in it’s simplicity is beautiful and fancy! Words can not describe how intimate and beautiful this place is. “I planned on spending my birthday in happy valley and searched all over for a place, then I found Lakewood cottage. I talked it over with the other couple that came with and it was an easy yes for the 4 of us. The place wasn’t far from the stadium and easy to get to. It was clean and tidy and overall an amazing stay for the weekend. We would definitely stay here again.”

“The owners were excellent hosts. Great value for the price. Located in nice neighborhood. Loved the rustic wood floor and antiques. Clean and warm. Owners kept the kitchen stocked with tea and coffee. Very “homey” feel. The open bathroom wasn’t a big issue for us since we stayed with family. Less expensive than any other hotels in the area, especially on a game weekend.”
