“This is a beautiful place in a beautiful setting. The neighbors' views are blocked by trees. The view of the lake through the huge picture windows is amazing. We especially appreciated having a washer & dryer -- no trips to a laundromat! We swam & canoed and every question for the owner was answered promptly.”

I will say, the showers are a bit strange with the controls outside the shower itself, also no barrier to keep water in the shower. “A GREAT place !!!! GREAT LOCATION!!! Lots to do at the lake (swim, kayak, fish, tan) and in town (Loon Fest, Wing Wah). My family and I enjoyed it immensely. Enough room to stretch out, great wrap-around porch for a peaceful AM cup of coffee. Minor suggestions: have screens in all windows (to include upstairs) for all around cooling, and have brighter light bulbs in the living and dining areas.”

“We were very pleased with our stay at this Schoodic Lake property. The location was relaxing & perfect…the next to the last house on a dead end road. The two neighbors on either side were not visible through the trees. Our closest neighbors were a family of bald eagles between this property & the next. Amazing! Check-in was easy. “This house is very well done!!! The owners have thought of everything. Even though it is located in fairly remote area it has all the comforts of home. The view from the main living space and deck are gorgeous and on a clear day, you can see Mt. Katahdin. It is about an 8 minute ride off Baxter State Park Road, on a packed dirt road, but you quickly get used to that, and it is a chance to see wildlife!! Highly recommend!!!”

“Awesome place, tons of space! Check-in/out was super easy, and the beds were comfy. Highly recommend it, especially if you're into sledding – the trail's right across the street! Bear mountain BBQ is right next door which was super convenient and the food was phenomenal!”
