“Had a great long weekend at the property. Had loads of stuff there to use the kitchen to its full potential. Was lovely and warm and everyone had plenty of space in the accommodation. We were able to celebrate Christmas with my mum who is going to Guatemala next month and won’t be there. A few tiny tweaks will make this a perfect let but already great as it is.”

“Had a wonderful weekend away and this little gem is in the heart of the centre which is great. Very compact&quite small but very cute. Parked car opposite on paid carpark. Decor is beautiful,bit dark for applying make-up ladies and had trouble 1st day with no hot water but within 10mins it was sorted so all good. ”

“What can i say, everything was perfect.
Upon entering the building using the very clear instructions and getting our key, to entering the room.
Room 2 Coniston.
It was absolutely spotless, very spacious with a nice homely feel to it. Kitchen area was really good, all the appliances and accessories we needed.
Very comfy & large bed.
Dog friendly room with a dog bed, bowl, treats and towel.
Booked again for November
Perfect location, you really are at the centre of the town.

“A fantastic property. Incudes everything you can think of, including a dog box which was a life saver as we’d forgotten our dog lead.
Great facilities on site, nice short walk to Brockhole visitor centre and close to Ambleside. Wish we could have stayed longer. Will definitely be back. ”

“Unfortunately we were not offered the two bedroom apartment we had booked, instead we were offered a one bed apartment with a sofa bed. The sofa bed was very hard and not suitable for two people, not even children. We requested a partial refund for this and were assured we were entitled to one but this has not been received.
The property itself was beautiful, everything worked and communication with the host was excellent. Its just a shame that this all now feels like a charade. I see from……

“The property is undoubtedly small. It was very clean and comfortable - a perfect base for exploring this wonderful area.
Plenty of grocery stores and pubs/restaurants in surrounding area.
A very steep narrow staircase leading to the second level of the property. I note this has been mentioned in other reviews too.

“What an amazing property! We could not have been more impressed. Just gorgeous. Very, very happy with my experience with friends on my 50th, it was just wonderful. Our host was really helpful and helped on follow up queries. Can get a bit colder in the night for those staying up late, but on balance I could not be more happier about my stay. “The location is great and nearby the ferry pier.
But the hotel is not in good maintenance at room, the toilet ceiling have a lot of dirty water marks, it looked disgusting. I booked a lakeview room that cost £250 a night, but not worth it, the room is really dilapidated, even they don't have a refrigerator at room, I needed to keep my birthday cake in their restaurant. The room price wss including the breakfast but it was lack of choice, they serve breakfast until 10:30 am, when I ordered……

I just can say this hotel not worth for money, they are overpriced.
Staffs are not really friendly. "
