I came to the region specifically to take carpentry classes at Hammerstone (which were fantastic) and we wanted a quiet homebase to rest, relax and really get a feel for the area. “The yurt was exactly as advertised. We enjoyed the wood burning stove almost every night, played lots of puzzles and games, and enjoyed sightseeing in the area. We would have enjoyed getting to know the sheep and chickens a little (we were visited regularly by two handsome black kitties), but alas we couldn't find a time. Next time!”

“This property was a perfect place to relax and enjoy the scenic beauty of Watkins Glen. The cabin was in an excellent location, close to town for dining and shopping, we enjoyed our stay , everything is provided for you and is spacious and clean. We will most likely come back when weather allows for more seasonal activities like hiking, camping and boating. Access to trails was very limited due to icy conditions but the frozen waterfalls provided some beautiful photos , looking forward to……

“We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin! We were comfy and enjoyed the scenery. We were there for Cornell softball and due to rain schedule was changed to accommodate. We really didn't go outside much due to rain but that cannot be helped! Overall we were pleased with our stay. Not being familiar with the area the roads were a little different in the rain and fog but again, couldn't be helped. The rooms and kitchen and living room were all comfortable for our group. Would stay again!”

“Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Loved the place. The bunk house had loads of cobwebs though and doesn't look like it has been used in a while so no one in our group wanted to use it. I just have an overall issue with the increased prices of VRBO's with the added fees. There is a company that managed this property and then VRBO's fees on top of that made it expensive. VRBO properties used to be comparable to nice hotels but now they are well above that. Hope that can change because we love……

“OMG what a wonderful place to unwind and relax!! The cottage was perfect for myself and husband to “runaway” from our weekly grind. The cottage had everything we needed and was well stocked with all you could want to make yourself dinner or just a snack. Communication with the owner was great!
